The retreat will take place in Altea, Spain. A small village on the Costa Blanca, Altea used to be a small fishing village and has been the home to countless artists. Surrounded by mountains and sea, Altea offers a microclimate, breathtaking views, and the ideal setting for a retreat, to disconnect, and to fully focus on your writing.

Getting to and from the Airports: Alicante is the closest airport and is about an hour away. Valencia is another option and is 1 1/2 hours away.  Shuttle company, Beniconnect, provides transfers from both airports to Altea. Alsa offers buses nearly every hour on the hour from the airport to Benidorm, which is about a 20 minute drive away. Let us know how you plan to arrive, and we can help figure out the best mode of transportation!

Places to eat: Altea is full of great restaurants, whether you are craving Spanish tapas or paella, Japanese, Indian or Italian! We'll be sure to provide you with a list of our personal recommendations!
